About JMEDS Solutions

JMEDS Solutions is start-up company looking to bring
proven Israeli technology for electronic health records
(EHR) into the American market.

Israel is renowned for its outstanding high-tech/electronics
achievements. Its medical facilities are highly advanced
and have already implemented cutting-edge technology
and services, including electronic health records. At the
same time, R&D in Israel costs a fraction of development
costs in the United States.

There is a unique and timely market opportunity in the
U.S. market. The American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009 (ARRA) was signed into law on February 17,
2009, and provides $19 billion in federal funding to
facilitate widespread EHR adoption. Incentives will be
available beginning in 2011 to physicians using EHR
technology to meaningfully connect with pharmacies and
other care providers in order to coordinate care and
thereby improve the quality of healthcare. Since it is
unlikely that physicians will be able to fully implement an
EHR system within the course of a single year, physicians
will need to implement EHR by the end of 2010 in order to
take advantage of the 2011 incentives. As the federal
fiscal year starts October 1, in order to take maximum
advantage of the incentive payments, the deadline for
adoption may be as early as September 30, 2010.
Current estimates are that just one fifth of medical
practitioners have implemented electronic medical records
in their offices, and even fewer have gone paperless.

JMEDS Solutions is actively seeking to bring world-class,
affordable technology to the American market at this
historic juncture for the improvement of the quality
healthcare in this country.
